Is sniping allowed on eBay?
Yes. eBay explicitly permits bidding at any time before an auction ends, including through automated tools. Your bid is a normal eBay bid placed through official eBay systems.
Do you need my eBay password?
Never. You sign in on eBay's own site and grant us permission to bid on your behalf. You can revoke that permission from your eBay account settings whenever you like.
What if I'm outbid?
eBay's proxy bidding means you only ever pay one increment above the second-highest bidder, up to your maximum. If someone's max is higher than yours, you'll get an email letting you know.
Can I cancel a snipe?
Any time before it fires. Unlike a real eBay bid, a scheduled snipe carries no commitment until the moment we place it.
